Extracurricular activities are a great way for kids to explore their hobbies and interests. But if they are still unsure which activity they want to pursue, they can turn to Toca Life: After School for help. It's a digital playset in which kids can explore and have fun with various after-school activities.
Fun Activities on Every Floor
In Toca Life: After School, kids roam around a four-story virtual clubhouse filled with movable characters and objects. Each floor houses a unique location: the ground floor is a skate park, the first floor is an art workshop, the second is a dance studio, and the third is a sports court. Kids can scroll left or right to discover more areas, such as a cafeteria, the showers, and a rooftop lounge. They can take an elevator to move between floors.
As with Toca Life apps, there are plenty to do and see. Kids can play with up to 27 unique characters, and dress them up in different outfits and accessories. They can skate down ramps, draw on giant canvases with spray paints, and program songs on the music machine, among other things. Many secret items and compartments are also hidden throughout the app.
As kids play, they can use the built-in recording feature to save their stories. When this feature is turned on, the app will capture their voice and characters' movements on screen for up to two minutes. The video can then be saved to their camera roll.

Things I Like
Toca Life: After School is a fun way for kids to explore new activities. It covers a variety of disciplines, so kids should be able to find something of interest. Kids are given free rein in the app, so they can be as creative as they want. They can, for example, invent an entirely new sport using the items they find on the sports court. And with so many surprises and interactive elements to discover, kids will never feel bored.
What I like about Toca Boca apps is their top-notch audiovisuals and keen eye for details. The characters are adorable, but more importantly, they are a diverse mix. There are feminine, masculine, and androgynous characters, characters with darker and lighter skin colors, young and old characters, and even non-human characters. Kids can also find a wheelchair in the app.
I highly recommend Toca Life: After School for kids who love to role-play. It's a fantastic playset, jam-packed with playful details and storytelling opportunities. The after school theme is unique and also convenient for coaxing kids into trying out new hobbies. Who knows, they might just discover their passions!
