What could be more fun for kids than racing with toy cars? Developer Pepi Play thinks the answer is being able to build the toy car of their dreams. And their new app, Pepi Garage, lets kids do just that.
The gameplay is simple in Pepi Garage. When you open the app, you’ll be presented with four colorful, but otherwise plain, cars. Tap on the one you want to customize and be prepared to unleash your creativity using various painting tools, stickers, wheels, and add-ons.
After you’re done painting, you can take pictures of your car in real world environment and share them with your family and friends. Then, take your car for a spin through the test track and see if it can make it to the finish line. If it doesn’t, don’t fret; you can always go back to the garage and redo your work.
If you’re thinking that Pepi Garage sounds a lot like something Pepi Play has released in the past, you’d be right: it is built on the foundations of Pepi Ride. The developer noticed that kids were spending more time painting instead of racing, so they fine-tuned the customization part and added new tools to make it even more fun. You’ll also notice the new, cheerful characters.
Despite the new additions, some things remain the same. The interface, for example, is just as kid-friendly. Then there’s the vibrant graphics and background music that we’ve come to associate with Pepi Play apps.
All in all, we think Pepi Garage is a great alternative to keep ages 3-7 busy and creative. What’s more, the app is free to play with no strings attached, meaning it has no in-app purchases and third-party advertising. Definitely worth checking out, if you ask us.
