I have to be honest. Living in a tropical country like Indonesia has made me biased towards my car washing experience. I’m used to washing my car the old-fashioned way: with car wash foam and plenty of running water.
That’s why I couldn’t understand many of the activities in My Little Car Wash app when I first tried it. The idea of washing a car without any running water baffled me. I had the impression that the activities in this app were fictional.
But, I decided to do a small research on Google and YouTube to find out about those activities. Turns out, it’s called eco-friendly car washing system.
How to Wash Your Car in an Eco-Friendly Way
If you care about the environment, you’d probably know that soap water is never a good thing. That’s why many places have prohibited the act of washing a car with running water. As a result, people come up with a two-bucket solution: one to wash and another to rinse.
Other times, it’s just not possible to have running water. For example, if you live in an apartment without access to a water hose, live in a desert, or have to wash the car inside your garage due to the winter cold. Because of these conditions, people come up with solutions such as chemical car wash, snow foam car wash, and steam car wash.
None of these new methods of car washing is familiar to me. That’s why I couldn’t understand many activities in My Little Car Wash during my first plays. But now that I understand what they’re all about, I have come to a much higher appreciation of the activities.
You start the game by choosing one of the 20 different vehicles available in the app. Then, you start by spraying enough water to wet the car before driving it through the car wash.
The first thing you do inside the car wash is to remove the paint drops on the body. Using a special laser-like tool, you hit those paint drops to remove it. As you progress through the motions, the background of the first icon on the top of the screen will turn to green. Once the icon is fully colored, you can move on to the next activity.
After you remove the paint drops, you can clear the wheels by using a special micro-fiber that’s able to remove heavy dirt and road grime. Then, you get your bucket filled with special super wash foam mixed in your own lab. Use the sponge to start washing the car body.
Afterwards, you can turn on the big automatic brushes to wipe the car clean. By this time, the car would already look clean enough. But, there are still four more steps to go.
You can apply the special liquid to cover the car in a snow foam like. To clear the undercarriage of the car, you can also use the bottom sprinkler. Soon enough, the car looks like covered in ice.
Next, use the steam emitter to remove the ice covering. Once the car is dry and clean, use the special brush to get the car in a polished condition.
