Is it a bird? Is it a plane? No, it’s Jack! Sago Mini’s resident rabbit is back as a caped crusader in the new app Sago Mini Superhero, out now on the App Store.

Jack Saves the Day

In Sago Mini Superhero, you follow Jack as he explores the city and sets things right. You begin by calling him out of his home, then guide him by moving your finger across the screen or tapping a specific spot. When you come across a yellow marker, guide Jack there to interact with the scene.

For example, you might come across a marker near an ice cream truck that’s stuck in a manhole. Using his super strength, Jack can lift the truck and set it back on the road. Other emergencies you might encounter including fire in a building, an angry giant octopus, and a family of ducks trying to cross the street.

In all, you can find 30 animations scattered throughout the city. In addition to the land and sky, you can go underground to get to the subway, the sewer, and your very own hidden lair.

Parents Need to Know

Sago Mini apps are designed to be open-ended and faciliate exploration. They don’t have a time limit or scoring system. Due to the simplicity of the gameplay, they’re typically recommended for ages 2-5. Older kids who prefer apps with more challenges might want to look elsewhere.

Sago Mini Superhero has no third-party advertising and no in-app purchases. To hide the “Sago News” and “For Parents” buttons on the title screen, go to the Settings app on your device and find the appropriate options under Superhero. You don’t need an Internet connection to use the app.

Things I Like

Many kids dream of having superpowers and saving the day. What I like about Sago Mini Superhero is it depicts superheroism as more than beating up bad guys. Performing simple acts of kindness, like helping someone cross the street or getting a cat out of a tree, are also heroic acts.

Like other Sago Mini apps, Superhero has vibrant graphics and an abundant of playful details. Curious kids who love exploring will enjoy discovering hidden gems such as dancing space moles and teleport gates. All in all, this is one fun app that Sago Mini fans wouldn’t want to miss.
