Basic Materials

In Hoopa City, there are 7 basic materials that you can mix and match to create new things. These materials are listed on the top of the screen. From left to right, the materials are:

  • Heart: creates a hospital
  • Coin: creates a shop
  • Leaf: makes a flower patch
  • Road: builds a road
  • Brick: creates a basic building
  • Water: makes a puddle of a water
  • Electricity: builds a wind turbine

When combining materials, please keep in mind that the order matters. For instance:

Brick + heart = school

But:

Heart + brick = police station

Heart

On its own, a heart makes a hospital. When combined with other materials, a heart can create the following things:

  • Recycling plant = heart + electricity
  • Dr. Panda statue = heart + heart
  • Fire station = heart + water
  • Police station = heart + brick
  • Museum = heart + coin
  • City hall = 4 hearts in a 2×2 grid

Coin

On its own, a coin makes a store. When combined with other materials, a coin makes the following things:

  • Market = coin + coin
  • Bicycle shop = coin + leaf
  • Umbrella store = coin + water

  • Race track = 4 garages (coin + road) in a 2×2 grid

A leaf placed on a single grid will make a flower patch. Tip: add water to change the flowers.

  • Park = leaf + road
  • Playground = leaf + heart

Roads are necessary to allow characters and vehicles to travel from one point to another. When combined with other materials, roads can make the following objects:

  • Solar panels = electricity + leaf
  • Construction site = electricity + brick
